SnowBirds on Stand-By (SOS) Offered November through February only

We firmly believe that riding should be fun and as stress free as possible. With that in mind, we realize that the winter season can be full of surprises in regards to sudden changes in conditions and temperatures. If you can flex on your schedule, our SOS program may be for you. SOS applies to both the BRC and ERC; check under our “schedule” section for potential dates. When you sign up, you understand that the date(s) may be moved to accommodate weather and/or temperature conditions and payment must be made 48 hours in advance to secure your slot. A minimum of 8 students must be enrolled to conduct a BRC; 6 for the ERC. Call our office for further clarification and details.

One out of every three drivers in America is now over 55 years of age. The typical U.S. motorcyclist is about 41 years of age compared with 24 years of age in 1980. A “Seasoned Rider” is generally considered to be riders over 40 years of age with riding experience.

The objective of the “Seasoned Rider” is to acquaint participants with the general effects of aging and the skills necessary to ride safely. This is an interactive and fun session meant for riders of all ages. This group setting course lasts no more than 90 minutes, total. Tuition is 2 cans of food that goes to the Salvation Army's food pantry. Call our office for additional information and scheduling for yourself or for your riding group.
