Basic Rider Course (BRC):

Held every weekend and weekdays. Call for course availability, or look under our “Schedule” section. 10 students per class, maximum.

15 hours of instruction; 5 hours classroom, 10 hours of actual hands-on riding. We provide the motorcycles and helmets. Successful completion waives Colorado DMV written and riding test.

Tuition: $220.00 civilian, $200.00 for Military (Active, prior and retired), Police, Fire/Rescue personnel, plus 2 non-perishable food items to be donated to the Salvation Army’s food pantry.

Range information:

Riding range location: 2855 South Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80906. (In the Companion Habitats parking lot, N/E corner of Hancock and Academy)

Classroom location: 1353 South 8th Street, suite 206, Colorado Springs, CO, 80906. Behind the Cheyenne Mesa Building, immediately south of the Lexus Dealership.

Winter course schedule October / March:
Thursday 6:30PM to 9:30PM (Classroom)
Saturday 10AM to 3PM (Range)
Saturday 4:30PM to 7:00 PM (Classroom)
Sunday 10AM to 3PM (Range)

Summer course schedule April through September:
Morning class: Wednesday 6:30PM to 9:30PM Classroom)
Saturday 7AM to 12 Noon (Range)
Saturday 1:30PM to 4PM (Classroom)
Sunday 7AM to 12 Noon(Range)

Note: Morning slots are filled before an afternoon course is opened up for admission.

Afternoon class:
Thursday 6:30PM to 9:30PM (Classroom)
Saturday 1PM to 6PM (Range)
Sunday 9:00AM to 11:30AM (Classroom)
Sunday 1PM to 6PM (Range)
